Manager Licence Renewal Deadline is August 31, 2018

All condo managers and management companies need to submit their applications to renew their licences to the CMRAO by August 31, 2018. Those who have submitted their applications by the deadline may continue to provide services to their clients while the CMRAO reviews their application. The renewal applications are submitted by logging into the manager's CMRAO account, updating the licence information, and paying the fee:

• Limited Licence - $379.00
• Transitional Licence - $607
• General Licence - $607
• Condominium Management Provider Licence - $799 base fee plus $350 per licensee employed by the company.

It is an offence for people or companies to provide condominium management services without a licence. A person convicted of an offence could face a fine of up to $50,000 or imprisonment for less than two years. A company could face a fine of up to $250,000. In future years the renewal period will run from May 1, 2019 to June 30, 2019. The fees for future years are not yet know.
