Roy Gentles

A future firm leader and newly appointed partner, Roy leads the next generation of condominium and subdivision development lawyers with tenacity and diligence. Roy is meticulous in his problem solving and revels in the opportunity to work through the most complex legislation in order to find the right solutions for his clients.  Roy derives great satisfaction from seeing a project come to life, and is driven by delivering an end-result that exceeds client goals.

Roy handles all matters related to land development from acquiring land, to determining the best development strategy and sale to the end users. Roy is passionate about finding clarity for his clients no matter the situation. He identifies issues and works at the root of the problem to solve them.

When working with Roy, clients can expect honest, straightforward, and practical advice. Roy doesn’t waste time on legal jargon. Instead, he aims to simplify his client’s issues and provide them with pragmatic advice and guidance.  Roy cares deeply about his client’s projects and wants to see them succeed, which is why he commits himself to always providing the best service possible.

When Roy isn’t catching up with clients, he spends his time immersed in the world of sci-fi literature, cheering for the Leafs, golfing with his colleagues, and enjoying the great outdoors. If you get a chance to, ask Roy about the best camping spots in Ontario – he can offer you some great recommendations.
